Rodgers’® Puddings Earns Non-GMO Project Verification
Rodgers’ Puddings is pleased to announce that their Kosher Certified flagship product, Rodgers’ Banana Pudding Filling, is Non-GMO Project Verified. Rodgers’ Puddings also intends to achieve Non-GMO Project Verification for their other refrigerated line puddings, Guava, Coconut, and Blueberry, which are made with organic, grass-fed milk and are Kosher and Halal certified.
The Non-GMO Project is North America’s only third-party verification and labeling organization for non-GMO food and products. GMOs, or “genetically modified organisms,” are plants or animals that have been genetically engineered with DNA from bacteria, viruses, and other animals and plants. Rodgers’ Banana Pudding Filling underwent a series of rigorous tests and audits to ensure that they adhere to the Non-GMO Project’s strict Standard for GMO avoidance.
“We believe that consumers have the right to know what is in their food. Earning Non-GMO Project verification helped to validate our commitment” said Reggie Rodgers, co-owner of Rodgers’ Puddings. With our banana pudding filling, a banana pudding dessert can be made in minutes. Just open, stir, pour and spread over your bananas and wafers. That’s it… just that simple! Our banana pudding filling can also be used as a base for milkshakes, smoothies and as an ingredient to enhance crepes, tarts, oatmeal, etc. It is entirely up to you….expand your horizon by expanding your palate.
